  My Brace Treatment at Newgate Dental Morpeth 22 years old, finished university and starting my new graduate job in Newcastle. One of the things letting me down was my teeth, having crooked teeth through university didn’t concern me as much but moving into a customer facing position motivated me to finally do something about it. Listening to the radio one day, I heard Newgate Dentals advertisement for a free teeth alignment consultation. Having nothing to lose, I went for it. On the day of the appointment I was welcomed into to Newgate Dental and had a friendly chat with their advisor Collette Price, shortly followed by the consultation with Dr Iain Morrison. When hearing the options for teeth alignment I was worried, because some of my teeth were twisted the only real beneficial option was to have Cosmetic Braces. When I think of ‘braces’ I think of metal train tracks which typically take 1-2 years, this worried me especially being in a customer facing role. I couldn’t have been more wrong, I was advised cosmetic braces typically take between 4 – 6 months, are white and so discrete. It wasn’t until I had the braces fitted only a couple weeks later that I could really start seeing the benefits. Not telling anyone I wore braces, I was surprised – no one even realised I wore the braces! Within one month, I could already see the difference, in particular my bottom set of teeth were starting to shift and straighten into place. The months passed by, and I can honestly say I forgot I was wearing braces – just a couple things to remember; don’t eat curry or drink red wine – my two favourite things! By month 3 – 4, my teeth were aligning into place, and could see a drastic change. When visiting Iain on my 4th month, I was advised I could have the braces removed on our next session. I was over the moon, and within 5 months the braces had correctly aligned all my teeth and were completely straight. The best sensation is having the braces removed, and to be able to run your tongue across smooth teeth for the first time is amazing. I am truly over-the-moon with the results, during the treatment Newgate Dental were highly supportive; any concern or question is shortly answered with an added check-up just to make sure things are ok. I couldn’t recommend Newgate Dental and team enough, I can now confidently smile and say the Cosmetic Braces were truly the best investment I have made!

  I can't speak highly enough about the treatment which I received from this practice. The staff are all incredibly friendly and professional. What I though would be a nerve wracking experience (having not visited a dentist for several years) was in actual fact an absolute pleasure! I would recommend them to anybody.
