- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Robson & Prescott were our Vets for years then the Practice became too big with too many Vets and too many trainees. We found we were never seeing the same Vet twice. How could they compare progress if they had not seen our pet before? We also found that they were sending out very inexperienced newly qualified Vets to practise on our ponies. Often they got the diagnosis wrong but we still got a big bill for their mistakes. On one occasion, an elderly pony had two bad abscesses, one on a near fore foot and one on an off hind foot. The inexperienced Vet, straight out of Edinburgh Vet school, hacked away at both feet. How was the poor pony supposed to stand up? Four years ago, In desperation we switched to Vets4Pets in Pets at Home where our pets always saw the same Vet and where we have always had superb care.by Susan CansdaleJuly 15, 2017
